I love doing events. Schools, writing groups, libraries, festivals… you name it, I’ll do it (within reason). I’ve spoken and taught at the Arvon Foundation at Moniack Mhor, the Edinburgh International Book Festival, the Stratford-upon-Avon Literary Festival, the Wigtown Book Festival and many more.
The good news is, I’m part of the Live Literature Funding scheme, which can help with your costs. To see my page on the Scottish Book Trust website, with schools information and contact details, click here. My usual rate is £150 per session plus expenses.
I no longer conduct workshops as such, but I’m happy to do talks, discussions and Q&A sessions. I’m based in the north east of Scotland, but am willing to travel. For information about fees and travel costs, or to discuss any particular requirements you think I can help with, please contact me directly.
